Auburn Animal Clinic was founded in January 2003 in Rockford, IL, along with surrounding areas, by Dr. Holm.
Dr. Holm didn’t exactly choose the Rockford area, it’s more so that the Rockford area chose her through opportunity. Starting back on January 6th, 2003, Dr. Holm became a relief veterinarian at Auburn Animal Clinic. Going into late March, early April she started to work more full time. Over the year, she was offered the opportunity to take over the clinic and she did so on October 1st, 2003.
Since growing up on a farm, Dr. Holm has always had a special place in her heart for all species, hence why our motto is “All Species Great and Small”.
Since taking over, Dr. Holm and her team have worked hard on several changes. The biggest one being our remodel that originally started in 2022 and now with our exterior in 2026. We had also switched over to being partially computer based in 2006.
Here at Auburn Animal Clinic, we believe in treating every patient as if they are our own pet, with love and affection along the way. At Auburn, we have a highly trained group of individuals who are animal lovers and devoted to giving our patients the highest level of veterinary care possible.
